Getting Started

Connect your Shopify store

Integrate your Shopify store with Auxx.ai to access customer orders, products, and support context.

Connecting your Shopify store gives Auxx.ai access to your customer profiles, orders, and product catalog. This data provides context when your team (or AI) responds to support tickets — no more switching tabs to look up order details.

Admin required

Only organization admins and owners can connect a Shopify store.

What gets synced

Once connected, Auxx.ai can sync the following data from your Shopify store:

DataWhat's included
CustomersName, email, phone, order history, amount spent, tags
OrdersOrder details, pricing, fulfillment status, shipping/billing addresses
ProductsTitle, description, vendor, status, tags, variants, inventory, media

Synced data is stored in your Auxx.ai workspace and kept up to date via webhooks — when something changes in Shopify, Auxx.ai is notified automatically.

  2. You'll be redirected to Shopify. Log in if prompted.
  3. Review the permissions Auxx.ai is requesting and click Install app.
  4. After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Settings > Shopify with your store listed as Active.

Shopify permissions

Auxx.ai requests these permissions from your Shopify store:

PermissionWhy it's needed
Read productsSync your product catalog for support context
Read ordersAccess order details when handling customer inquiries
Read customersMatch email conversations to Shopify customer profiles
Read/write inventoryView and update inventory levels

Syncing data

After connecting, you can sync your Shopify data manually or let webhooks handle real-time updates.

Manual sync

From Settings > Shopify, click the action buttons next to your connected store:

  • Sync Products — Pull in your full product catalog
  • Sync Orders — Import order history
  • Sync Customers — Import customer records

Each sync runs as a background job. You can check progress in the sync job history.

Automatic sync

Once connected, Auxx.ai automatically registers webhooks with your Shopify store. When products, orders, or customers are created, updated, or deleted in Shopify, the changes sync to Auxx.ai in real time.

Managing your connection

Enable or disable

You can temporarily disable a Shopify integration without removing it. From Settings > Shopify, toggle the store between Active and Inactive. Disabling pauses syncing and webhook processing but preserves your synced data.

Multiple stores

You can connect more than one Shopify store to a single Auxx.ai organization. Each store appears as a separate entry on the Shopify settings page with its own sync controls.

Remove a store

To disconnect a Shopify store entirely:

  1. Go to Settings > Shopify.
  2. Click Remove next to the store you want to disconnect.
  3. Confirm the removal.

Removing a store deletes the connection and associated synced data from Auxx.ai.
